Typing help

Type the way it sounds
Zdravej becomes Здравей. Bulgarian uses sht for щ, y (or " / #) for ъ, j for й and ' for ь. Type i followed by a backtick for ѝ. Choose Russian for its own phonetic layout.
A little English in between
With the editor focused, press esc to switch between Cyrillic and literal typing. Existing text stays exactly where you left it. On a phone, tap the mode buttons.
Convert only what you mean to
Pasted text stays as-is. Select part of a message, then choose → Cyrillic or → Latin. With no selection, the entire message is converted. This is phonetic transliteration, not translation or a passport standard.
Keep control of your words
Undo with ⌘ / Ctrl Z, redo with ⌘ / Ctrl Shift Z, copy with ⌘ / Ctrl ↵. Clear can be undone. Drafts are only saved if you enable the switch, in this browser on this device. Turning it off deletes the saved draft.
One sound, two separate letters?
Put + between them: s+hodstvo → сходство. The separator disappears. Literal mode preserves all characters.
